External Alarms

Use the External Alarms subtab to view external alarms provisioned. For a list of ONS nodes and cards that support this subtab, see Maintenance.

 

Item	Description
Input #	Displays the number assigned to the external input.
Raised	If checked, indicates the alarm is raised.
Contact Status	Indicates the contact status, either open or closed.
Alarm Type	Shows the alarm type.
Severity	Shows the alarm severity.
Virtual Wire	If the alarm is assigned to a virtual wire, indicates the virtual wire.
Description	Displays the external alarm description.
Help	Displays context-sensitive help.
