Deleting a Filter Rule

You delete filter rules when you no longer want a filter to use them.

To delete a filter rule, follow these steps:

1. If you haven't done so, read filters from a source.
   

2. From the Source pulldown list, select a PortMaster product on which a filter resides.
   
3. From the Filter list, select the filter from where you want to delete rules.
   
4. From the Rule Type list, select the type of rule you want to delete.
   
5. From the rule list, select one or more filter rules you want to delete.
   
6. Click Delete.
