For IP Rules, select a protocol from the pulldown list.

Protocol

Description

IP

Select this option to encompass all the protocols listed below.

TCP

Select this option for acknowledging the connection on both sides.

UDP

Select this option for connections that use UDP.

ICMP

Select this option for connections that use ICMP.

IPIP

Select this option to match packets using the IP Encapsulation within IP (IPIP). See RFC 1827 for more information.

AH

Select this option to match packets using the Authentication Header protocol. See RFC 1826.

ESP

Select this option to match packets using the Encapsulation Security Payload protocol. See RFC 1827 for more information.

protocol

Select this option to match packets using the specified Internet Protocol. Number is a specified protocol number. See RFC 1700 for more information.
