If you purchased your portmaster from PORTMASTERS.COM, it comes
preconfigured with the IP address: 10.0.0.201. You can use PMVISION found at
ftp.portmasters.com/pub/le/software/java/pmvision111.zip to configure the
portmaster if the ip address is known. If it is not known,
follow thes instructions:
----------------------------------------------------------------
To access the pm2e thru the s0 serial port (NOT the PO port):

1. Use a terminal or a PC with Hyperterm. Set it to 9600-N-8-1
    and xon-xoff flow control.

2. Connect a null-modem cable to the terminal or PC. You can make
one with the following minimum pin configuration:

	DB25-F DB25-F
	2	-	3
	3	-	2
	7	-	7
	8	-	20
	20	-	8

3. Connect it to port S0. Make sure that DIP SWITCH 1 is up putting
the port in CONSOLE mode (9600 bps n-8-1, xon/xoff flow control).
Dip switch 2 needs to be down. If up, it will try to NETBOOT..

4. Turn on the power, and after 30 secs you will see a "login:" prompt.

5. Login as "!root". Press ENTER for password. If there is a password and
you don't know it, type "override" for the password. It will give
you a 16 bit challenge string. Email this to override@portmasters.com.
You will be emailed back a 16 digit override password.

6. Type the following commands after you've logged in:

	set password <your desired password>
set address <the address you to assign it: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx>
set netmask <your netmask: default is 255.255.255.0>
	save all
	reset nic

7. Connect an ethernet cable from your network to the unit. Dip switch
5 and 6 up indicated Twisted Pair, both down for COAX. The unit
should be pingable and telnettable now.

8. Download PMVISION from ftp.portmasters.com/pub/le/software/java
to further configure and monitor your unit. (pmvision111.zip)
