Program Requirements and Redeeming Your Co-Op Funds
These are the K56flex ISP Co-Op Marketing Program requirements. Read these requirements: 1) before advertising to be sure that your marketing activities qualify for funds; and 2) again when you are prepared to collect your Co-Op funds and plan on providing Lucent the required materials.
What to Do to Register for the Co-Op Program:
- Purchase and deploy at least one PortMaster 3 with at least 48 K56flex Lucent-based modem ports before December 31, 1997. (ISPs deploying units with 48 K56flex Lucent based modem ports before September 27 can receive up to $250 in total. A single unit deployed with 48 K56flex Lucent-based modem ports and purchased between October 27, 1997 and December 31, 1997 can receive up to $500. For each subsequent unit with 48 K56flex Lucent-based modem ports purchased and deployed between October 27, 1997 and December 31, 1997, the ISP can receive up to $250 per unit.)
- Register on the Lucent ISP K56flex POP directory located at http://www.Lucent.com/Forms/K56flex-pop.cgi. By being registered, ISPs will be featured on both the Official K56flex website located at www.k56flex.com and Lucent's web site at www.lucent.com/forms/search-isp.cgi.
- Fill out, sign and return via fax (510-737-2110) to the ISP Co-Op Advertising Program Contract (http:/www.Lucent.com/ISP/coop_contract.pdf). Once Lucent has received a signed contract, we will email the URL for our online Quick-Start ISP Marketing Kit.

- Display the Lucent/K56flex logo and the Lucent logo in all print, TV/video, and billboard advertising. Please see Required Advertising Components for sizing standards and proportions (you will receive access to these components after you have signed up for the co-op program).
- Prominently and verbally mention K56flex technology in radio/audio advertising in the following manner: "Featuring Lucent PortMaster equipment powered by Lucent's K56flex modem technology."
- Circulate all advertising/promotional items October 27, 1997 through January 31, 1998. This includes daily, weekly, biweekly print media, TV, radio, billboard, direct mail and print flyers.
- Provide Lucent with all of the following by February 28, 1998:
a) Samples of the actual ads including print media ads, videotape of TV ads, audio tape of radio ads, photographs of billboards and actual direct mail and print flyers;
b) The original invoice(s) you received for placing your Co-Op advertising;
