The files in the ccl.tar file include:

        Readme - This file.

xooba.ccl - The Xyplex CCL extensions to support
Authentication of ARAP users with Kerberos
                          and/or SecurId.

        mac_ccls.bin - A MacBinary format self-extracting Stuffit
archive of CCL scripts and a utility called
ScriptSwitcher for use on Macintosh systems.

Many Unix format CCL script files for a number of modems.

--

The Unix format CCL script files are for the Xyplex Communication
Servers to use and should be placed on the script server in the
directory: <script-server-base-directory>/CCL. The Communication
Servers will then be able to retrieve the scripts from there and
execute them.

--

The file xooba.ccl contains the set of CCL instructions that may be
added to an existing CCL script which will allow Remote Access clients
to be authenticated with the Kerberos and/or SecurId protocols by
Xyplex Communication Servers. Directions for modifying a CCL to
perform this Out-of-Band Authentication can be found in your (Xyplex
ARAP documentation XXX). Conventionally, the prefix: "s." is
prepended to the name of a CCL script file to indicate that it has the
Xyplex "secure" modifications.

IMPORTANT: Scripts containing these modifications should ONLY be run
on the Macintosh (client) side of an ARAP connection.
Xyplex Communication Servers should NEVER be configured to
run a script with these modifications. Port settings on
the Communication Server control whether ARAP connections
should be authenticated with either Kerberos or SecurId.

ALSO: CCL scripts with the secure modifications may be used to
dial-in to any Xyplex Communication Server ARAP port
whether they are configured to use Out-of-Band
Authentication or not. These scripts will not work when
trying to connect to non-Xyplex ARAP servers.

The file mac_ccls.bin is an archive which contains a Readme, a
TeachText version of xooba.ccl, Macintosh format CCL script files
(both normal and secure), and a utility called "ScriptSwitcher".

To access the archive, first transfer it to a Mac converting it
from MacBinary format during the transfer. (Most Mac FTP packages
will do this.) Then double-click on the file's icon to extract the
files.

There are two versions of each CCL script: a normal version, and a
version of the script with the Out-of-Band Authentication
modifications. The modified versions of the script files begin with
the prefix "s.". The CCL scripts which you want to use with ARAP
should be placed in the "Extensions" folder so that the Remote Access
Setup control panel will be able to access them.

ScriptSwitcher is a Xyplex provided utility which changes the type and
creator of a CCL script file to a TeachText text file and vice-versa.
It is simple to use: just drag the icon for a CCL script file onto the
ScriptSwitcher icon and it will be converted to a TeachText file. You
may then view or edit the script with TeachText or any other text editor
on the Mac. When you are through, drag the TeachText file's icon back
onto the ScriptSwitcher icon and it will be converted back to a CCL
script file.

These scripts are in the public domain and may be freely distributed.
