MultiVOIP Firmware v1.11.0Z May 12 2015 This firmware is for models MVP130 and MVP130 FXS and is based on the v1.11.0Y firmware. By using this developmental test release you accept all liability and risk stemming from its use. ************************************************************************ Update Instructions If installing using the MultiVOIP Software on a PC with a serial port follow the "MultiVOIP Software Upgrade" instructions, otherwise follow the "FTP Upgrade" instructions. MultiVOIP Software Upgrade: 1. Install the MultiVOIP v1.11.0L Software, if not already installed. This can be found at the link below. ftp://ftp.multitech.com/multivoip/mvp1.11.0L.exe 2. Connect the MVP130 to the PC serial port and power it on, if not powered on already.Note the USB to serial convertors may not work with MultiVOIP Software. When the boot light is off, go to the next step. 3. Run the MultiVOIP Software's "Configuration" before upgrading and take note of the current settings.Note the settings should be retained during the upgrade. 4. Unzip the "MVP130-1_11_0Z.zip" file to a known location. 5. Run the MultiVOIP Software's "Download Firmware" and when prompted to select the "*.BIN" file, browse to the "mvpt1.bin" file you unzipped in the previous step and click open. 6. The Download Firmware process will take several minutes. When the MultiVOIP finishes rebooting the upgrade is complete. FTP Upgrade: 1. Set a password on the MultiVOIP if one doesn't already exist. This can be done using the Web Browser menus or the MultiVOIP Software via a serial port. Note the default IP Address of the MUltiVOIP is 192.168.3.143. 2. Unzip the "MVP130-1_11_0Z.zip" file. 3. Using a ftp client, upload the file "mvpt1ftp.bin" you unzipped in the previous step to the IP Address of the MultiVOIP. This should be transferred to the root folder, which normally is the default folder on connection. After uploading the bin file the MultiVOIP will reboot. When the boot light turns off, go to the next step. 4. Using a web browser connect to the MultiVoIP and check configuration/system information and confirm firmware version as 1.11.0Z.
