MultiVOIP Firmware v1.11.15 June 15 2016

This firmware gives the option to completely disable Fax Modes and has Modem mode always disabled.
Fax and Modem modes will often disrupt tones in a call or connection. Disabling them will
allow tones to be played through a call or a pass through connection without disruption.

******************************************************************************************
The option "Fax Relay Enable" must be disabled in the Voice/Fax menu for a channel to
have its Fax modes completely disabled. Both sides of the connection should have
Fax Relay disabled to prevent disruptions of tones.

This firmware is for models MVP130 and MVP130 FXS and is based on the v1.11.14 firmware.

Changes and Bug Fixes since v1.11.0Y:

v1.11.14
- Fixes for Web Interface compatibility issues with Java 8 and later versions.
- Added User Agent to SIP Registration packets.
- Added User Agent to SIP Options packets.
v1.11.15
- Modem Modes are always disabled.
- Changed the functionality when "Fax Relay Enable" is disabled in the Voice/Fax menu.
Previously disabling this option would enable Fax Bypass mode. In this firmware
disabling Fax Relay completely disables Fax modes.
Note: This is a special firmware release and this change won't be in future firmware releases
unless specifically stated that it is.

Note: When using Java 8, you may need to add the MultiVOIP to the Java Exception Site List.
To do this go to Control Panel and select Java. When the Java Control Panel comes up, select the
Security tab. Very that the Security level is set to High and click Apply if changed. Next click the
Edit Site List button, this should bring up the Exception Site List menu. Click the Add button,
select the new location added in the list, add the MultiVOIP's address to the list with a http:// prefix
and press enter. An example of this would be "http://192.168.3.143". After pressing enter you will be
prompted with a security warning, click Continue to accept the location. Click OK to close the Exception
Site List menu and again to close the Java Control Panel.

Update Instructions
If installing using the MultiVOIP Software on a PC with a serial port follow the
"MultiVOIP Software Upgrade" instructions, otherwise follow the "FTP Upgrade" instructions.

MultiVOIP Software Upgrade:
1. Install the MultiVOIP v1.11.0L Software, if not already installed.
This can be found at the link below.
   ftp://ftp.multitech.com/multivoip/mvp1.11.0L.exe

2. Connect the MVP130 to the PC serial port and power it on, if not powered
on already.Note the USB to serial convertors may not work with MultiVOIP Software.
When the boot light is off, go to the next step.

3. Run the MultiVOIP Software's "Configuration" before upgrading and take note of the current
settings.Note the settings should be retained during the upgrade.

4. Unzip the "mvp130-1_11_15.zip" file to a known location.

5. Run the MultiVOIP Software's "Download Firmware" and when prompted to select the "*.BIN"
file, browse to the "mvp130-1_11_15.bin" file you unzipped in the previous step and click open.

6. The Download Firmware process will take several minutes. When the MultiVOIP finishes
   rebooting the upgrade is complete.

FTP Upgrade:
1. Set a password on the MultiVOIP if one doesn't already exist. This can be done using the
Web Browser menus or the MultiVOIP Software via a serial port. Note the default IP Address
   of the MUltiVOIP is 192.168.3.143.

2. Unzip the "mvp130-1_11_15.zip" file.

3. Using a ftp client, upload the file "mvpt1ftp.bin" you unzipped in the previous step to
the IP Address of the MultiVOIP. This should be transferred to the root folder, which
normally is the default folder on connection. After uploading the bin file the MultiVOIP
will reboot. When the boot light turns off, go to the next step.

4. Using a web browser connect to the MultiVoIP and check configuration/system information
and confirm firmware version as 1.11.15.
