Client software runs on a user’s Windows 10 / Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Vista
/ XP / Windows 2008 Server / Windows 2012 Server (32
bit and 64 bit versions are available).
FaxFinder Client Software
To update the FaxFinder
Client software:
- Close and/or quit the FaxFinder
client software.
- Uninstall the previous version via
Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
- Run the FFClient-x64-4.0.2.37551.msi
(for 64 bit systems) or FFClient-x86-4.0.2.37551.msi (for
32 bit systems) by double clicking on it.
- Follow the on screen instructions to
complete the update.

FaxFinder Client Version 2.2.12:
Bug Fixes:
- Disabled the Minimize functionality on the Send fax
window due to strange functionality.
The window was not opening to a full state when another document
was sent to it.
- Syncing contacts would crash the client.
- Created an Add button to the contacts menus to reduce
confusion on how to add new contacts.
- A new contact or group were not appearing after being
added, as seen in Device Options->User Options->Contacts menu.
- Updated Black Ice print utility to version 13.25 for
print problems reported.
- Fixed client issue with x40 and user default cover
pages

FaxFinder Client Version 2.2.8
Bug Fixes:
- The client would error out after sending a fax and when
trying to add a file to recent documents when the filename is 'null'.
- User credentials were visible in the log files.
- Deleting a contact that was part of a group would cause
the client to crash.
New Features, Enhancements and Changes:
o Added default Cover Page
support, mirroring functionality of the firmware support.
o Users can choose to include a
cover page when sending a fax.
o And, Users can choose a
default cover page template to use when sending a fax.

FaxFinder Client Version 2.2.3
This is the first release of the FaxFinder Client
Software that supports using the FaxFinder FOIP
device FF240-IP fax server.
Bug Fixes:
- Increased max fax number chars from 25 to 65.
- Shortened the fax scheduling time, submitting faxes is
much faster now Fixed bug when setting max tries to 0 or empty in device options.
New Features, Enhancements and Changes:
- Added support for FF240-IP servers.
- Set fax schedule size limit to 50,000KB for FF240-IP
devices.
- Added Sync Contacts buttons and changed the
functionality of the Contacts button.

Bug Fixes:
- Updated printer driver to 13.02 which fixed issue
related to DPI resolution flags.
New Features, Enhancements and Changes:
- Raised limit on size of outgoing faxes to 40MB -
requires SSL mode to be disabled in the FFClient's
configuration.
- Get the group contact info from the hash that we
already have rather than asking the server for each contact.
- Changed the http_read timeout
from 300 seconds to 720 seconds to allow for a huge (10000) number of
contacts.
FaxFinder Client Version 2.1.0
Bug Fixes:
- Auto-discovery interface improved, scroll bar no longer
jumps to the top periodically.
- CR/LF's are no longer converted to spaces in the
comments section of a cover page.

- Recent documents button added to the Schedule Fax

- MS Office add-in allows for one-click faxing from
Office menu or toolbar.
- GUI changes to support fax groups and global contacts.
- Added "Show Completed" option to the Fax Status
tab. The user can set how many completed faxes will be shown if they still
exist on the server.
- Contacts, both from the server and outlook, are cached.

Bug Fixes:
- Fix crash when Outlook is no longer installed, but
Outlook contacts were enabled in the client.
- Fix default FillOrder tag for
TIFFs.
- Close device window if device is deleted.
- Restart print spooler on install and uninstall (helps
resolve some upgrade and uninstall issues).
- Automatically delete driver if it exists (from previous

- Added UI feedback to show when data is being loaded
from the server to device window and Contacts button in Schedule Fax
window.
- Allow opening of more than one FFx30 window and more
than one FFx20 window at a time.
- 64-bit support added (new communication with printer
driver).
- Upgraded to 10.32 Black Ice driver.
