Where you using Windows Dial-up Networking to make a connection? What commands were sent to the TA? Giving as much information about the use of the TA, even if it seems unimportant, is very helpful): 11) If you couldn't get the TA to connect, please perform the following procedure: a) Prepare your terminal program to log or capture all information that it receives from the TA (i.e. in HyperTerminal for Windows go to the "Transfer" menu and select "Capture Text..." and enter a filename for saving the captured text). Otherwise, if your terminal program allows you to copy and paste, then you may do that instead and paste the information at the end of this procedure. b) Enter 'AT>S99=0' c) Enter 'AT>D99' d) Attempt to make the connection that fails for you e) After the TA fails to connect and returns 'NO CARRIER' enter 'AT>D3' (press the space bar or any other key each time the information output pauses until the TA returns OK) f) Now enter 'AT>LOG' (press the space bar or any other key each time the information output pauses until the TA returns OK) g) Include the AT>D3 and AT>LOG information along with this Bug Report 12) AT*L (last fatal error result string): Enter 'AT*L' AT*L result string: ____________ 13) Enter 'AT*L1' and wait for the TA to reset.
