\f0\fs24 \cf0 This software installer provides software for Multi-Tech's MultiModemUSB family of modems and related serial modems. Modems supported by this package include the MT9234ZBA, MT9234ZBA-USB, MT9234MU, MTCBA-C-x, MTCBA-G-x, and MTCBA-E-x.\
\
The USB models (MT9234ZBA-USB, MT9234MU, MTCBA-C-U, MTCBA-G-U, and MTCBA-E-U) require a kernel extension (MultiModemUSB.kext) and the necessary modem scripts.\
\
The serial models (MT9234ZBA, MTCBA-C, MTCBA-G, and MTCBA-E) require only the necessary modem scripts.\
\
NOTE 1: This software is Universal. The modem scripts and kernel extension contained in this installer are intended for Mac OS X 10.4 and newer running on a PowerPC Mac or Intel Mac. Multiple modems of the same model or differing models may be used at the same time on the same Mac.\
\
NOTE 2: Some early models and some special builds of the MT9234ZBA-USB use the USB communication device class descriptor (0x02). These models will not work with some versions of Mac OS X (10.5 in particular). You may install the software, reboot, and then plug in the MT9234ZBA-USB. If the Power LED on the modem does not light up within 1 minute, then call Multi-Tech Systems for support. Normally the Power LED will light up within a few seconds of having the USB cable connected.\
