Q7: When I install the NDIS, I got a endless loop of installation.
Each time power off and power on, the win95 still want me to
insert the driver, even I had truly installed them.
A7: It is very important that our driver sould be installed after
the installation of "ISDN ACCLERATOR PACK 1.1" or "Dial up
Network 1.2" when you want to use the NDIS function in Windows 95
(Note that Windows 98 is already built in so you cannot install
the "ISDN ACCELERATOR PACK 1.1" and "Dial Up Network 1.2 again.).
If you didn't do that, you will get the endless loop during
     installation.
In this situlation, please remove the card , resatrt windows
95 and reference the uninstall method in Q0&A0.
After installation, please install the MicroSoft ISDN Acclerator
Pack 1.1 or Dial-up Network 1.2 (you can download from
www.microsoft.com for Win95, but it's already in Window 98) and
     then install our driver.

Q8: I can connect the ISP, but I can't browse or FTP.
A8: Maybe due to the following resons:
     1. Make sure that TCP/IP protocol exists in the
        "network" of the "Control Pannel".
     2. Your IP address is not correct.
     3. You Domain Name address is not correct.
     4. Wsock32.dll is something wrong.
For example, you had installed the Chameleon 5.0, this
        AP will change c:\windows\system\wsock32.dll for
Chameleon use. Next time you use the Microsoft
dial-up network, you need to restore the Microsoft
        wsock32.dll, or it can't browse.

Q9: How to connect the Multi-link PPP in VCOMM mode?
 A9:
   1. Install IM128/IV128, see Q0&A0.
      Go to our "Configuration Ultility".
From the tab "Switch Type" and "Call", you need to give the
correct switch type and phone number.
From the tab "Protocol", please select the "ASYNC to SYNC ppp
      conversion".
   2. Now you can have the several methods:
      (1) Go to our "Configuration Ultility", click the "Other" tab,
select the "MP Enabled" and "BOD Enabled" and give the 2nd phone
number in the "MP Sec Phone Num".
If you just select the "MP Enabled" but not "BOD Enabled", you will
make 2-BCH always bundling together. When the "MP Sec Phone Num"
is empty, we will dial the same number. When not empty, it's the
      2nd phone number.
If select none, you are single PPP.
If select both, first we will dial two calls and then begin the
"Bandwith On Demand" function, we will automatically drop or
add the 2nd B-CH depends on the throughput. When the "MP Sec Phone Num"
is empty, we will dial the same number. When not empty, it's the
      2nd phone number.

      (2) If you don't want to use our Configuration Utility,
you can directly keyin AT command sets in terminal
      application program to configure it.
AT&J1 means you want to use same number to dial 2 times
            and bunding together.
In the dial-up AP (for example, dial-up network),
you just need to give one number (dial-up network
will set the "ATDxxxxxxx" which xxxxxxx is the number)
and IM128/IV128 will dial the 2nd number automatically.
AT&J0 means just PPP (dial only one number) or Multi-link
            PPP (dial 2 different numbers).
When AT&NM=0 , this is just PPP, dial-up AP will
set "ATDxxxxxxx" which xxxxxxx is the telephone
            number.
When AT&NM=1 , AT&Z0=yyyyyyy which yyyyyyy is the
second number. You just need to set the first
number in dial-up AP, AP will give the command
"ATDxxxxxxx" which xxxxxxx is the first number
and our driver will dial the second number
            "yyyyyyy".
When AT&NM=1 , but AT&Z0 is empty, this is still
just PPP, AP will dial only "ATDxxxxxxx" which
	    xxxxxxx is the first number.
      ATDxxxxxxx&yyyyyyy
No matter AT&J, AT&NM setting, this is always
Multi-Link PPP, when you set the telephone
number to be "xxxxxxx&yyyyyyy", we will dial
the first number xxxxxxx then second number
            yyyyyyy.
Except the &, you can also use the + or !
            instead.

   3. Go to the Dial-up networking.
Click "Make new Connection", give the connection name
,for example, COMPORT, and slect the "Intelligent
      PCMCIA ISDN TA (modem)".
   4. Click (uses the right button of mouse) the
icon named COMPORT ( you just gave it). Click the "Propertities" tab.
In "General" menu, please gives the phone number you
want to dial, and select the "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN
TA (modem)" in "Using" command dialog.
In the "Type of Dial-Up Server" menu, please select the
"PPP: Win95, Windows NT 3.5, Internet".
The "Advance option", you can unselect the following 3
      items:
         Log on to network
         Enable software compression
         Require encrypted password
      The "Allowed network protocols", please
         unselect the
           NETBEUI
           IPX/SPX compatible
         select the
           TCP/IP
Click the "TCP/IP Settings", you can specify a IP address
if you need, and specify name server address if you
      need.
5.Finally, you can use our card to connect to Internet

   Note: AT&NB=1 means BOD enabled
	 AT&NM=1 means MP enabled
AT&Z0 is the 2nd phone number

Q10: Now I use the VCOMM driver, I get the "device is
occupied by other device" message when I try to use
the dial-up network or other terminal program.
 A10:
      1. Maybe your COM port is conflict with another program,
go to the "Configuration Ultility" and select "Port
change", then change the COM port. Our factory COM port
         is COM5.
      2. In some special case , the other device in COM port will
effect the ISDN COM port function . Please remove all the
other devices in "Modem" of "System".

Q11: When running Application Program (APs) , system appears
      "Open port fail "
 A11:
      1. Please check the ISDN card have been Plug In .
      2. If you ever run the AP successfully, and Windows 95 suddently
shows "Open port fail",it is probably the ISDN TA PC card
is use by the other APs. Terminate the other APs and try again.
      3. Enter Our ISDN configuration utility, check the current active
API shown at the bottom of the Utility Manager's main screen,
and make sure the AP uses the consistent API with the current
active mode. If not , select the approprite API for the AP.
4: In some special case , the other device in COM port will effect
the ISDN COM port function . Please remove all the other device
	 in "Modem" of "System".
      5. If all the above solution do not work , uninstall the ISDN TA
PC Card and install it once again .

Q15: When I uses dial-up network and IM128/IV128 with the NDIS driver, I get
the "The modem is being used by another Dial-Up Networking connection
      or another program".
 A15:
      1. Check to see if you select "ISDN-linex" ( which x is 0,1,2,..)
as the modem device in the dial up network.
      2. Be sure "ISDN-linex" is not occupied by another program.
      3. Go to the Configuration Utility and make sure the Switch Type,
SPID, DN are all correct, and then restart windows 95 again.

Q16: When I uses dial-up network and IM128/IV128 with the NDIS driver,
I get the "dialing", but can not get "Verifying user name and
      password".
Even if switch type, SPID, DN is OK. ( in Windows 95 )
 A16:
      1. Uninstall our driver
      2. Reinstall ISDN Acclerator Pack again
      3. Reinstall our driver again
      4. Go to the Configuration Utility and make sure the Switch Type,
SPID, DN are all correct, and then restart windows 95 again.

Q17: How do I make sure my installation result is OK?
 A17:
      1. Click the "System" icon in "Control Pannel".
Select the "Device manager", make sure there is not
	 "!" or "?" mark in:
	 (For IM128)
	 "ISDN Adapter" --
	   "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA (ISDN)"
	 "Multi-function adapters" --
"Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA Multi-Function Card",
	 "COM & LPT" --
"Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA (COM port) (COM5)"
	 "Network Adapters" --
	   "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA (Net)"
	 "Modems" --
	   "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA (modem)"
	 (For IV128)
	 "ISDN Adapter" --
	   "Intelligent ISDN MODEM (ISDN)"
	 "Multi-function adapters" --
"Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA Multi-Function Card",
	 "COM & LPT" --
"Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA (COM port) (COM5)"
	 "Network Adapters" --
	   "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA (Net)"
	 "Modems" --
	   "Intelligent ISDN MODEM (modem)"
      2. If there is "!" mark in "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA
Multi-Function Card", maybe the I/O, IRQ assignment
from Windows 95 are fail. Double click the "Intelligent
PCMCIA ISDN TA Multi-Function Card", select the tab
"Resource", you will see the 2 I/O (for IM128, one is 16 bytes
and the other is 1 byte, for IV128, both are 8 bytes) and 1 IRQ.
I/O cannot be zero and IRQ cannot conflict with other devices.
Sometimes if you change the setting of IRQ and give
	 free I/Os (16 bytes, 1 byte for IM128 and 8 bytes, 8 bytes for
IV128) it will solve the problem although they doesn't conflict.
For the IRQ problem, see the 2 examples:
	 (1) If there isn't any IRQ free, try to disable one device
(for example, COM2 or sound card), uninstall our driver
	     and reinstall again.
	 (2) If there is one IRQ free but windows 95 cannot assign to
us. For example, IRQ9 is free and sound card is at IRQ5.
You can change sound card to IRQ9, then uninstall and
	     reininstall our driver again.
      3. If there is "!" mark in "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA
(COM port) (COM5)" for IM128 or "Intelligent ISDN MODEM
(COM port) (COM5)" for IV128 , maybe the COM5 is occpied by other
	 device.
Go to our "Configuartion Ultility", click the "port
change" and select another port, then resatrt windows 95
	 again.
      4. If there is "!" mark in "Intelligent PCMCIA ISDN TA (Net)",
	 check:
	 (1) ISDN acclerator Pack or Dial-up network is damaged
or not exist, try to install it and our driver again.
	 (2) Check the files NDISWAN.VXD and ISDNUI.DLL. They should
	     exist in c:\windows\system.
	 (3) Check "Control Pannel" -- "Network", you should have:
	     Dial-Up Adapter
	     TCP/IP
Note: If your installation method is from "NDIS", "VCOMM"
to "CAPI", your interfaces are NDIS, VCOMM, WINISDN and
CAPI. If the current mode you selected is not NDIS mode,
you will get the "!" mark, this is correct, should be
	 ignored.
      5. If there are not any "!" or "?" mark, you can use VCOMM
mode to check the PCMCIA card.
Select the VCOMM mode, try to give the "AT&K<Enter>" command
in the HyperTerminal, you should get the response like:
	   A55A00FF85 5AA5
	   ISDN Hardware is OK!
If you get "ISDN Hardwre is bad", may be your card is bad
or PCMCIA socket bad or Windows 95 I/O conflict.

      6. If there isn't any proceding problems and you uses the U-dongle
to plug into the wall. You can see the "LINK" LED to identify:
	 (1) LED OFF:
It means Windows 95 doesn't know you inserted the card,
and there isn't power in the socket.
	 (2) LED is 8 Hz Flashing:
	     Power exists, and begin activation.
	 (3) LED is 1 Hz Flashing:
	     U active but S/T not.
	 (4) LED ON and solid:
	     U and S/T activate

      7. Select the VCOMM mode, try to give the "ATH5<Enter>" command
in the HyperTerminal, you should get the response like:
ISDN Layer 1 is link success!

      8. If everything is OK, but you can not connect, check the
switch type, SPID and DN is correct or not in our
	 Configuration Ultility.

      9. No matter which interface mode you select, run our "Status"
in "Configuration Ultility" and try to connect you will know the
D-CH, B1-CH and B2-CH active or not and which protocol
	 currently run.

Q18: How to use WINISDN to act as PPP/MP server?
 A18:
   1.Install IM128/IV128, see Q0&A0.
   2. We assumed that you want to use Chameleon NetManage 5.0
      for WINISDN.
      IMPORTANT: Please backup the file
        c:\windows\system\wsock32.dll
and copy it to another file (ex. wsock32.ms).
This is because the Chameleon 5.0 will replace this file.
      Install the Chameleon 5.0 AP.

pannel". If it wants the Windows 95 SRC, please give the
right path. If it wants the Chameleon path, you can give
      "c:\netmanag.95".
After that, it will request you to restart Windows 95,
before restart, please make sure the path in c:\autoexec.bat
is "c:\netmanag.95;", not "c:\netmanag.95;=", sometimes it
      causes error.
Restart windows, go to DOS SHELL, check the c:\windows\
system\wsock32.dll, the size should be different from
wsock32.ms (you just copy it), please copy the new
      wsock32.dll to wsock32.che.
From now, if you want to run dial-up network in the future,
