The complete path name and file name combine can NOT exceed 10 characters. 3) you MUST have step 1 and 2 in place before you can perform firmware upgrade. ******************************************************************************************* 1. Bring up the browser and enter the IP address of the RouteFinder (ie http://192.168.2.1) 2. login as admin and enter the admin password (default password is admin) 3. click on Save & Restart and then click on Restart the RouteFinder. 4. wait for the main login window to come back and then login again. 5. Click the Utilities button on the top. 6. Click the Firmware Upgrade option on the left. 7. Click the Browse button and select the firmware bin file. See the WARNING above if you are running firmware versoin 1.00 8. Click the Upgrade button. 9) BE PATIENT, the upgrade process take minimum of 5 minutes when perform upgrade via the LAN. It will take longer when perform upgrade remotely via the internet, this will depend on the internet link speed. 10) When upgrade is completed, the program will return to the main login screen. If you are doing remote upgrade, you might need to retype the URL for the RouteFinder in order to get back to the main login screen. if the firmware upgrade fail or it does not show the webadmin login page again, wait for another 5 minutes, power off and on the RouteFinder and webadmin to the Routefinder to check the version, if the version does not show the latest, then the upgrade did not go through successfully, try to perform the firmware upgrade again.
