(b) Changes since last release V1.0.6.30 * Connection Manager Installer - Updated Telit Drivers New Telit drivers have been added to the installation package: - Telit_Windows_10_WHQL_Drivers_Installer_UF.20.03_2.02.0003_win10.zip - Telit_Windows7_8_Desktop_Drivers_Installer_UF.00.07_1.06.0011.zip Connection Manager Installer provides an option that allows installing the modem drivers (the option is enabled by default). User can skip modem drivers installation. The Telit Drivers are installed in a separate installation process after the MultiTech Connection Manager Installation is completed. The Telit drivers are not removed from the operating system when Connection Manager is uninstalled. * Migration to QT 5.11: The previous version of Connection Manager 1.0.6.30 was based on the QT version 5.1.0 which: - Did not support Windows 10 - Contained an issue that affects COM interfaces detection in the Windows OS and did not allow it to work with Serial modems. After the migration to QT 5.11, the new release of Connection Manager supports Windows 7,8,10 and supports Serial modem detection. * Version QT 5.11 is used in the new Connection Manager release. The installation package was modified to support the installation of new Windows 10 drivers. The MultiTech Connection Manager installer contains an additional step that disables the Windows 10 native connection manager during the installation process, and enables it during uninstallation. * An APN field has been added to the Connection Manager configuration screen. Connection Manager sends the AT+CGDCONT command only when a APN value is set by user. When APN is empty, Connection Manager does not send AT+CGDCONT command. * Fixed an issue where serial H5 modems won’t dial in Windows 7. An additional initialization command AT+COPS=0 has been added so the sequence no longer causes connection problems. * Fixed an issue where IMEI value on H5 modem is not displayed properly. A separate command was added to retrieve the IMEI for H5 modems: AT+CGSN * Fixed an issue where 4G/LTE modems could not register in cellular network. To register 4G/LTE modems an AT command AT+CGREG is now used based on the LE910 chip set on the cellular network. (c) Known Issues * May have issues communicating with device through connection manager after operating system come out of sleep/suspend mode.
